What we can
actually do.

How the crop is processed, graded, packed and documented before it leaves Uganda.

Processing

Vanilla is killed in hot water, then sun-dried by day and sweated by night before conditioning in closed boxes.

Pepper is blanched, dried on raised beds rather than bare ground, then winnowed and density graded.

Grading and testing

Pepper is cleaned to ASTA standards and graded by density.

Every lot is tested for moisture and microbial compliance, and for vanillin or piperine, before it is cleared for export.

Packing

Vanilla ships vacuum-sealed in food-grade barrier film.

Pepper ships in 25kg and 50kg bags. Presentation and sample packs are available for buyer evaluation.

Export documentation

Certificate of origin, phytosanitary certificate, bill of lading and commercial invoice travel with every consignment.

Lot documents are also published to the buyer portal, so they are available before the paperwork arrives.

Traceability

Every consignment carries a batch code, and that code resolves to harvest dates, origin, lab results and certifications.

The public record withholds commercial detail. The buyer of the lot sees the rest.
